You geeks and your inside jokes!
I wish I could make some sort of pun involving 1s and 0s, but my education really hasn't equipped me for that. (Seldom is the question asked: is our children learning binary?)
I can, however, write you a very nice paper about the etymology of the term fat chance and its perpetuation of the oppression of people of size. So, um, score one for liberal arts. Or not.
A google search failed to determine the provenience of "fat chance." But, since fat chance and slim chance have the same connotation, I am skeptical of the causal link between the idiom and the persecution of people of increased girth. Or, as the engineer in me would reply: 0.
If you can't find at least three ways that any given aspect of our culture privileges *someone* at the expense of someone else, well, then you haven't spent enough time in a women's studies department.
Also, provenience: nice word. :-) GRE, here comes Data!
