Deity help me if I jinx it, but things look OK for Dean right now. Unless, of course, those elements of the party scared of an actual passionate partisan heading the DNC get spooked and line up behind the next leading contender, Martin "Democrats for Bush" Frost.
Should be a clearer picture after the forum this weekend in NY.

itp--that assumes members can find enough common ground to endorse en masse after the NY forum. I'm not willing to put money on that outcome.
Josh--What a fabulous letter. Now I'm all verklempt. So many NH memories will last a lifetime...
Now I'm all verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you another topic. The partridge Family were neither Partridges nor a Family. Discuss!
I'm not necessarily saying that there'll be common ground, or any kind of endoresement en masse, but I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few more than 50 or 60 DNC members announced now by early to mid next week. No one's listening to Mark Brewer anyway.
Better shut up while I'm ahead and just wait and see.
Yeah, just wait and see is a good plan...I remember what happened the last time I got my hopes up about a Dean candidacy.
