More on Oklahoma City later; the more pressing issue is how people make their PB&J sandwiches. (This contentious issue came up on the ski trip.) Please vote for:
1) Peanut butter on side A, jelly on side B, close the sandwich.
2) Peanut butter and then jelly on side A, nothing on side B, close the sandwich.
3) Peanut butter and then jelly on side A, peanut butter on side B, close the sandwich.
"This is for posterity, so, be honest."

Definitely #3. You absolutely, positively cannot have the jelly directly touching the bread. It gets soggy, there are holes in the bread, it makes your hand sticky- so so yucky.
#1, but 3 sounds like such a good idea. I never thought to do that.
None of the above. Butter on both sides of slices A, B, and C. Pan-toast all slices. Peanut butter slice A, then sliced banana. Peanut butter both sides of slice B, then banana on C-opposing side. Peanut butter slice C.
One might believe this to be a derivative of either (1) or (2). And one would be mistaken.;)
A quick poll of co-workers at lunch yesterday found the vast majority opting for #1.
I have to agree with them as I prefer my peanut butter:jelly ratio close to 1:1 (perhaps more like 5:4).
But, as Rachel pointed out, if you're storing the PB&J for later consumption, #3 does prevent sogginess.
